Work in the Maricopa 2022 General Election Recount

Job:
You will be an appointed worker and representative from the Maricopa County Libertarian Party. The details are still being finalized, but here is the general gist (subject to change and will be updated accordingly):

  • Hand recount of the Attorney General, Superintendent, and State House LD 13. To work a shift from 8 am-5 pm. Lunch is provided.
  • The estimated start of the Recount is Saturday, December 10th. To continue each day until completed. Estimated 5 days.
  • Being able to work multiple days is preferred (for reasons of requiring training, etc.) but all interested people will be submitted and the County Elections Department will send a survey to help coordinate days available for the list I provide.
  • No half-day shifts. You must work the FULL day

Why this is a good opportunity:

You will be participating in the election oversight of the most notorious election in America. The Maricopa County election. As Chair, I have exerted much of my statutory authority to have an equal seat at the table of how our elections function. Now it is your turn to join the Party and help represent Libertarians in local government in this significant way.

Our election process is complex and nuanced. There is so much to learn and you will meet many Arizonans who are reasonable and want a fair society. You won’t see many Libertarians. Let’s change that.

I know both chairs for the R’s and D’s have submitted dozens of names, and I would like to match them. Are you available for any of the prospective days listed below? If so, please submit your information at the following link. We’ll confirm your registration and then will submit you to the Maricopa County Elections Department.

For questions, you can email me at chair@lpmaricopa.org.

Thank you!

In Liberty,
Brandon Slayton
